More About Dr Katie Beleznay
Dr. Katie Beleznay is a globally recognized leader in cosmetic dermatology, international speaker, trainer and author. A Clinical Instructor with the Department of Dermatology at the University of British Columbia, Dr. Beleznay has published more than 40 peer-reviewed articles and textbook chapters and also serves as a contributing editor for the journal Dermatologic Surgery. She is a key opinion leader, frequent speaker at conferences and is a treating investigator in pivotal clinical trials bringing the latest aesthetic treatments and devices to market. Dr. Beleznay is also a leading dermatologist on social media and is frequently featured in the press.
Education
Dr Beleznay is board-certified in both Canada and the United States. She completed her medical training and dermatology residency at the University of British Columbia. Dr Beleznay completed a year-long fellowship in cosmetic and laser dermatology with Shannon Humphrey and Jean and Alastair Carruthers, and worked with Dr Mitchel Goldman at Cosmetic Laser Dermatology in San Diego, Dr Derek Jones at Skin Care and Laser of Beverly Hills, and Dr Tina Alster at the Washington Institute of Dermatologic Laser Surgery in Washington, DC.
